TAXES AND SURCHARGES
All pricing that is advertised for our services include GST. Additional surcharges apply for services booked for public holidays and dates in high demand (New Years eve etc…)
COCKTAIL JUG TERMS
If any cocktail jug equipment supplied by TBS is damaged, additional charges will be invoiced after the event.
CONFIRMING YOUR BOOKING
To confirm Torley’s Bar Services at your event, a deposit of 50% of the total quote is required within 1 week of the invoice date. If the Deposit is not paid within 1 week, the original quoted price will expire and TBS may be required to re issue an updated quote and pricing.
The remaining amount of the invoice will be sent out 10 days before the event, which will require full payment before your event begins.
This deposit is non-refundable (please see cancelation and postponement terms below)
BOOKING OF BEHALF OF OTHERS
If you book TBS’s services on behalf of another person, you are deemed to be the primary contact for your event. All payments, cancellations and additional charges are your responsibility and you are required to keep the party guests informed.
By booking on behalf of another person or group, you represent and warrant that you have obtained all required permissions. You are responsible for verifying that any information you provide on behalf of another party is complete and accurate and we will under no circumstances be liable for any errors or miscommunication in the information provided to engage our services.
POSTPONING
An event postponement will only be considered if received in writing and discussed with the management of Torley’s Bar Services.
CANCELLATION BY CLIENT
In the regrettable circumstances that a Client cancels an event/order, notification must be provided in writing, will only be accepted if received in writing and Torley’s Bar Services shall be entitled to the following payment:
All cancellation requests must be received in writing to your Event Manager.
If the cancellation is notified 31 days or more prior to the event date, TBS will offer a 25% refund of the deposit.
If the cancellation is notified between ten (10) business days and 30 days from function date, your 50% deposit plus a 10% admin fee will be will be forfeited. You will also be required to pay any additional non-refundable supplier invoices (e.g. Hire, Entertainment, catering etc).
If the cancellation is notified (9) nine business days or less prior to the date of the function, 100% of the projected event charges shall be payable by the Client. You will also be required to pay any additional non-refundable supplier invoices (e.g. Hire, Entertainment, catering etc).
LIQUOR LICENSING
Torley’s Bar Services does not hold a liquor license at this point of time, we are a BYO only service for private events.
EXTRA GUEST ATTENDANCE
If your event is a per person package (PP), any extra guests over the age of 18 will be charged for at the same rate agreed upon when booking your event. Guests under 18 years of age (unless specified by a non-alcoholic event) will not be charged. TBS Managers will do regular head counts throughout the night and will touch base with yourself if numbers increase. If unfortunately your event has less guests attend than booked for. TBS won’t be able to provide a discount without a minimum of 2 weeks notice for a decrease in numbers.
RSA AND INTOXICATED CLIENTS
Torley’s Bar Services staff are all RSA Certified (Responsible Service of Alcohol). During your event, TBS staff are required to practice RSA if necessary. Even though your event may be private and within your own home, while TBS bartenders are serving alcoholic drinks, we will follow the legal guidelines and will take all actions necessary to ensure our staff, and other guests are safe.
This includes:
– Cutting off intoxicated/aggressive guests
– Offering waters to all guests
– Ending the drink service for the whole event early in extreme circumstances of mass intoxication.
If in extreme circumstances it is deemed necessary to end service of alcohol early, no refund or credit will be provided.
BEER TAP SYSTEM TERMS
These tap systems are expensive to maintain and purchase. Any damage that occurs to the system, an invoice equivalent to the repair costs will be issued. If the tap system is damaged to a point of it being unrepairable, the full cost ($1200, inc. gst) will be invoiced to the client.
FURNITURE HIRE TERMS
Any hire items from the White Event Co (bar stool and table package, LOVE Table) that are damaged beyond repair, the client will be issued a replacement bill. If the items are damaged and can be repaired, the cost to repair will be billed to the client. All of our hire products are wet weather proof, but when possible, we recommend storing the furniture undercover when it is raining.
BROKEN GLASSES
Any glasses that break during an event by the client/ guests attending the event, a broken glass fee of $8.50 (inc gst) will be invoiced to you. Any glasses broken by TBS staff will not be charged.
This Also Includes any glasses that can not be found within 45min after drink services ends.
LIABILITY
We will not accept liability or pay any compensation if you, your property or the property of a third party suffer any damage or loss when transporting our equipment at your direction without our approval.
PHOTOS AND MARKETING
You consent to us using images of you taken during our service for advertising and promotional purposes in any medium we choose.
You grant us a perpetual, royalty-free, irrevocable licence to use such images for publicity and promotional purposes.
FORCE MAJEURE
Except where otherwise expressly stated in these booking conditions, we will not accept liability or pay any compensation where the performance or prompt performance of our contractual obligations are prevented or affected by, or you otherwise suffer any damage or loss as a result of force majeure. In these booking conditions, ‘force majeure’ means any event which we, as the supplier of the service, could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such events may include, whether actual or threatened, war, riot, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, epidemics, fire, unprecedented traffic events and incidences and all similar events outside of our control.
CANCELLATION BY US
If we cancel your service, you can transfer amounts paid to an alternate date or receive a full refund.
PARKING AND ACCESS
TBS will require 1 carpark with a heigh limit of 2.1m for every event. Alternative options can be made if this if not available. If we are not notified about parking prior, and have to purchase a paid spot, this amount will be added to your invoice
TBS will not park illegally to service your event.
Please note that if you wish to have an additional service area, or have the bar moved during service, you will need to contact us prior to arrange this. A $150 charge will be incurred if the bar is to be relocated during service or if an additional service area is requested on the day.
